Dumont Scholarship art exhibit currently on display

The Walter N. Marks Center for the Arts is currently display COD students' art until May 22. The exhibition is free and is open from noon to 4 pm.

The Dumont Scholarship Art Exhibit, which started April 22 and will end May 22, is currently on display at the Walter N. Marks Center for the Arts.

There are many students who have their art in the exhibit, all of whom received scholarships from Dumont. These students include Jorge Tovar, Brittany Toles, Ralph Kimball, Nikki Andrade, Gustavo Gomez, George Ponty, Alessandro Cinelli, Mikaela Rosvall, Agus Tio, April Walker, Jacob Mooty, Alex-andra Elsken, and Jorge Tovar.

Tovar has several kinds of arts in the exhibit, including pieces called "Johnny" and "Stairway." He uses graphic design, screen printing, and acrylic.

Another student, Brittany Toles is a sculptor, oil painter, and an acrylic painter. Her pieces of art include: "Strength", "Audrey Hepburn", and "Harmony."

Ralph Kimball does Acrylic and oil stick mixed. His pieces of art are "Geometric Abstract 1,2, and 3."

Another student showing her pieces at the exhibition is Nikki Andrade, who uses foam core and pencils. Her work includes "House in the Woods," and a model design.

Gustavo Gomez does art with pens and pencils. His art professor. Nrty Bitanga, helped him get into art. Gomez's art includes a piece called "Reflection."

These are just a few of the many artists who have their art on display in the exhibition. Many of the pieces are worth a lot of money, ranging from $200 to $250. The most expensive piece of art at the exhibit is $1,450.

The art exihibit is free and is open from noon to 4 pm for students and the public. It is open Tuesday through Friday.
