COD's undefeated tennis teams go all the way to win the state championship.

Both men's and women's teams of COD have achieved this great opportunity to compete for the state title. On this challenging journey the coaches of these teams have trained and guided their players with great care and motivation.

Coach Rebecca Vineyard and assistant coach Eddie, who have combined experience of over 50 years of competitive tennis play, both lead the women's tennis team. Coach Rebecca currently holds the number one ranking in the women's senior for Southern California and coach Eddie compete at high levels in his division and they're both a great asset in teaching the team about tournament play.

When the Chaparral caught up with the team at their semi final game they had a message to their coaches, "The team would like to thank the coaches, Coach Vineyard and coach Eddie for all their hard work and dedication to this team. They have brought us together as a team. The coach's confidence in us as a team has meant so much as they led us so far this season. We are so thankful for their being there for us this season. We've had a blast".

The 3 Brazilians: Jackie, Marina, and Stephanie are here to get a scholarship to play at a University.

I could say a lot of things, but I will just say I am appalled by the lack of journalistic skills in this newspaper.
